Lecapitaine's decision to exhibit only refrigerated bodies on its stand proved to be a sensation (2 light goods vehicle boxes and one large box for 14-tonne HGVs).
Lecapitaine's decision for the 2015 show to exhibit its know-how and only its know-how – no vehicles – generated great interest among many visitors who, despite the current climate, had still travelled to Lyons for the event.
Over the years this show has developed an increasingly international dimension and, this year, Solutrans registered some 36,000 visitors over the five days, including 10% of foreign visitors. In a professional and friendly setting, Lecapitaine met many potential French and foreign buyers, several of our loyal coachbuilders, and representatives of major fleet purchasing departments, not to mention SMEs and traders.
François Jacqueline, Managing Director of Lecapitaine, was happy to say that: “in the various conversations with visitors to our stand, what they notice immediately is the quality of our bodies. This is an extremelyencouraging point!”
Lecapitaine fittings were also popular: the air curtain for maintaining the load at the set temperature during rounds, the electric handle for unlocking the two doors on the Iveco Daily body, and the active safety equipment (rear parking aid, reverse camera, multipurpose lights, etc.).
For Lecapitaine this event also provided the opportunity to represent Normandy. Thanks to the participation of various Normandy companies, a number of local products were exhibited on the stand (Saint James, Elle & Vire, Les Caramels d'Isigny, Les Maîtres Laitiers, Réo, La Maison du Biscuit and l'Atelier du Poissonnier).
